Teaching
I have taught courses in sociology, legal studies, gender and sexuality studies, and business, focusing on topics including research methods, gender, sexuality, race, and health and biomedicine. Though I am primarily a qualitative researcher, I have considerable experience and enjoy teaching undergraduate quantitative methods. Additionally, I have both supervised undergraduate research assistants and mentored students working on honors theses in sociology and consider one of my primary professional goals working with and expanding educational access for queer and first-generation college students like myself.
